Thermal conductivity of new nanocomposite superionic semiconductors K0.01Cu1.96S, K0.02Cu1.95S, K0.03Cu1.94S, K0.04Cu1.93S, K0.05Cu1.94S
(2023)In this work, we investigated the effect of nanostructuring on the thermoelectric and thermal properties of nonstoichiometric solid splavs doped with copper sulfides with potassium. The synthesized alloys K0.01Cu1.96S , K0.02Cu1.95S , K0.03Cu1.94S , K0.04Cu1.93S , K0.05Cu1.94S are nanocomposite. The crystallite sizes of the synthesized powder, as estimated from the half-width ...2023-12-06 -
Computational scheme for breakup of 11Be on light targets
(2023)We investigate the Coulomb breakup of the 11 Be halo nuclei on a light (carbon) target within nonperturbative time-dependent approach including the low-lying resonance 5/2+ of 11 Be (E= 1.232 MeV). We had found considerable contribution of the low-lying resonances ( 5/2+ , 3/2− and 3/2+ ) to the breakup cross section of 11 Be on a heavy ( 208 Pb) target at our previous calculations. ...2023-12-06 -
Influence of surfactants on the formation and growth of cadmium telluride nanoplatelets
(2023)The article presents a comprehensive review of the current research on the use of surfactants in CdTe nanoplatelet synthesis, including a discussion of the various types of surfactants that have been used and their effects on nanoplatelet size, shape, and optical properties. Additionally, the article examines the mechanisms by which surfactants influence the growth and morphology ...2023-12-06 -
Electron-hole trapping centers in alkali metal sulfates with Dy3+ impurities
(2023)The Na2SO4 − Dy samples were obtained by slow evaporation method. The spectroscopic methods were used to study the mechanisms of formation of electron and hole trapping centers. Intrinsic recombination emission of 2.9–3.1 eV and impurity emission of 2.55 eV and 2.15 eV are excited at 4.0–4.5 eV. Intrinsic SO3−4 − SO−4 and impurity Dy2+ − SO−4 trapping centers were revealed. The ...2023-12-06 -
Non-destructive structural studies of ceramic fragments of ancient tribes of Kazakhstan
(2023)The phase composition of several fragments of the ancient ceramic of the early medieval settlement of Asusay and burial ground Eleke Sazy in the modern Republic of Kazakhstan has been studied using neutron diffraction and Raman spectroscopy. The quartz, calcite, and feldspar minerals are dominant phases in the studied ceramic fragments. The fractions of those phases were ...2023-12-06 -
Thermal and electrical properties of nanocrystalline superionic NaxCu1.75S (x=0.1, 0.15, 0.2, 25) compounds
(2023)The paper presents the results of the studies of thermal properties of nanocrystalline superionic NaxCu1.75S (x=0.1, 0.15, 0.2, 25) compositions, and preliminary results of Na0.1Cu1.75S using as energy stored cathode material in Na-ion half-cell with NaPF 6 electrolyte and Na anode. The compositions contain a few copper sulfide phases: monoclinic chalcocite Cu2S , orthorhombic ...2023-12-06 -
Luminescent properties of BaxMg(2−x) F4 :W ceramics
(2023)Ceramics based on alkaline earth metal fluorides activated by tungsten has been obtained by radiation synthesis. The synthesis was realized by direct action on the mixture with an activator of a powerful flow of high-energy electrons without the use of any additives to facilitate the synthesis. It has been established that the resulting ceramics have luminescent properties ...2023-12-06 -
Electron-hole trapping centers in Na2SO4 with a transition metal impurity Mn
(2023)The Na2SO4 samples were obtained by slow evaporation method. The mechanisms of the formation of electron and hole trapping centers are investigated by spectroscopic methods. Intrinsic recombination emission of 2.9–3.1 eV and impurity emission of 1.85 eV are excited at 4.0–4.5 eV. Intrinsic SO3− 4 − SO−4 and impurity Mn+ − SO−4 trapping centers were revealed. The local levels ...2023-12-06 -
Super–protonic conductors for solid acid fuel cells (SAFCs): a review
(2022)Fuel cell holds the promise of being environmentally friendly and becomes one of the alternatives for renewable energy. Solid acids have super–protonic behavior which allows them to become conductors. It can function at high temperatures. Hydration, on the other hand, may be used to improve the performance of the solid acid. Moreover, the conductivity, stability, and crystal ...2023-12-06
