| dc.description.abstract | As cyber attacks turn out to be more advanced and widespread, the demand for cybersecurity professionals who can handle reality-based issues grows more rapidly day after day. Traditional education systems that are usually based on theory cannot provide the field practice necessary to combat the reality-based issues of modern-day cyberattacks. Sandboxes - isolated platforms in which malware and cyberattacks are safely tested and analyzed - have become a central element in the training of cybersecurity professionals. This article examines the use of sandboxes for training in cybersecurity, ranging from various sandbox types to the benefits of experiential learning and sandbox limitations. Based on successful use cases and studies, in this article, one gets a critical understanding of the way sandboxes are shaping the future of cybersecurity training. | ru |
