Abstract:
The article considers the role of graphic organisers in teaching writing skills in
English lessons. By providing visual frameworks, tools such as mind maps, Venn diagrams, story maps, and the hamburger paragraph organiser help students structure their ideas, improve
coherence, and foster critical thinking. The findings indicate that integrating these organisers into
writing instruction leads to better organization and writing proficiency, highlighting their potential
as valuable pedagogical tools and suggesting avenues for further research.
