This article presents the results of an empirical study of educational and educational strategies and career guidance of the 9th grade students of the SOE on the right of economic management "school-gymnasium No. 22" of the Akimat of Astana. The study aimed to identify students' decision-making processes about their future professions, factors influencing their choices, and attitudes towards career guidance at school. A quantitative survey was conducted among 81 students in four 9th grades. The survey results showed an average level of participation in career guidance. Although most students recognized the importance of professional self-determination and had initial preferences, they noted a significant lack of systematic information and practical experience. The main influencing factors are personal interests and parental opinions, and the Internet and social networks serve as the main sources of information. Students gave priority to interactive, practice-oriented career guidance formats, such as excursions, professional internships, and project-based learning. The study results indicate the need to develop comprehensive, multi-year career guidance programs that are integrated into the school curriculum, use digital resources, and develop cooperation with parents and external organizations. The study concludes with practical recommendations for improving the effectiveness of career guidance systems in secondary education.ru_RU
