The article investigates the use of school mediation as a method for reducing conflicts among educational participants. It demonstrates that the typical response paradigm, which is mostly centered on administrative procedures and fines, fails to avoid conflict escalation and does not help students acquire constructive interaction skills. Based on an examination of interviews with professionals, key challenges in modern school practice were identified: teachers' excessive workload, insufficient development of negotiating skills, and students' poor faith in school psychologists. It is determined that the use of mediation tools and targeted expert training helps to reduce tension, build trust, and create a secure learning environment.ru_RU
