The article presents a fairly simple design of the catalyst, but due to the content of platinum, rhodium or palladium salts, its cost is very high, therefore, the creation of an effective catalyst using inexpensive sorption rocks is relevant today. The authors put forward the idea of a technology for creating a device for cleaning harmful emissions based on a catalytic converter, which involves the use of natural materials, aluminosilicate minerals and shungite, impregnated solutions of galvanic waste containing heavy metal oxides (Ni, Fe, Pb, Cd, etc.). These ions are able to accelerate oxidative and reducing processes when the passage through them of emissions containing sulfur oxides, nitrogen, carbon monoxide. These pollutants are converted by them to harmless substances - N2, CO2, H2O, S, etc. The developed product has a number of advantages: high efficiency due to the combined action of catalytic and sorption purification of emissions, durability, long service life. All this, along with the low cost, makes the presented material quite competitive.ru
