Abstract

All over the world, tourism shows high growth rates, contributes to a significant improvement in the living conditions of the population and the sustainable development of the country. In Kazakhstan, tourism is at the stage of its formation. This article examines the achievements of Kazakhstan's tourism industry according to the Travel & Tourism Competitiveness Index, and provides a statistical overview of the development of tourism in the country over the years of independence.
