<summary type="text">The first knowledge of operation of the turbo-roundabout in the Czech Republic

This paper shows the first knowledge of operation of the turbo-roundabout&#13;
in the Czech Republic. It shows the main characteristics of this new type of roundabout and wants to&#13;
compare the differences between turbo-roundabouts in the Czech Republic and in the Netherlands&#13;
as a mother-land of turbo-roundabouts. The article provides the reader with all known types of&#13;
turbo-roundabouts, designs, used traffic signs and markings, and comparison of the capacity. The&#13;
main goal is to emphasize mistakes in the Czech Republic and to show the correct solution for planning turbo-roundabouts to get safety intersection with enough capacity. Analysis shows that there&#13;
are formed fairly large plugs at following vehicles in both directions at peak periods. Therefore, the&#13;
authors of this paper proposed a scheme of multilevel road interchange, eliminating conflict points&#13;
that increase capacity of interchange and ensure the safety of pedestrians.

Improving the quality of products in modern conditions is one of the key economic and political&#13;
tasks. Therefore, a set of measures such as standardization, state control over its quality, organization&#13;
of product testing and confirmation of conformity are aimed at its solution.&#13;
Quality assurance and food safety is the task of the development of society and the state, aimed&#13;
at improving the quality of life.

Современное развитие космической техники зависит от уровня эффективности&#13;
используемых материалов. При этом большую роль играет умение модифицировать и внедрять&#13;
последние достижения науки. Исходя из этого, в статье освещен метод модифицирования&#13;
титана и его сплавов с использованием плазменного электролитического оксидирования.&#13;
Полученное оксидное покрытие обладает высокой адгезией к подложке, износостойкостью и высокой микротвердостью. Ведение процесса в импульсном режиме ПЭО позволяет получить увеличение износостойкости покрытия в 12 раз, микротвердости в 3.3 раза по сравнению с исходным материалом.

<summary type="text">Experience of using precast concrete joint piles in the construction of a Cargo offloading facility in West Kazakhstan

The paper presents discussions of the bearing capacities of precast concrete joint piles&#13;
from construction site of the port of Prorva located on the Northeast Caspian Sea. Precast concrete&#13;
joint piles with cross-section of 40 cm × 40 cm with the total length of 27.5m were used first time&#13;
in the West Kazakhstan. The piles bearing capacities were received by computational methods as&#13;
APILE analysis and Kazakhstani standard method, as well as by pile driving analyzer. The analysis&#13;
showed that the results obtained by the dynamic method of PDA, APILE analysis and the calculation&#13;
method according to the Kazakhstan standard are similar. The methods described in the article can&#13;
be applied to determine the bearing capacity of piles and to analyze the interaction of driven piles&#13;
with problematic soil ground in West Kazakhstan. Considering the calculations performed, APILE&#13;
analysis can be recommended for use in the design and the dynamic PDA method for testing piles&#13;
directly on construction field conditions.
