Business development contributes to the sustainable economic development of the
country while also leading to significant environmental changes at the global level. The
greening of businesses is becoming a priority area of strategic management for companies, considering the growing environmental challenges and the need to move toward
sustainable business models. This study aims to identify the historical, evolutionary,
spatial, and conceptually scientific landscape of greening businesses through bibliometric analysis. The study analyzed 660 sources in the Scopus database from 1992 to
2024. The use of VOS Viewer software and the Scopus analysis tool has shown that
greening business research has been of interest among many authors and is a growing trend. The rapid growth of publications from 2019 to 2024 shows its significance
to many government agencies, business people, investors, and researchers. The growing number of scientific studies in economics, management, and ecology indicates a
growing scientific focus on the problems of greening businesses. The United States
occupies a leading position in research volume, while the United Kingdom and China
emphasize their significant contribution to developing this concept. A comprehensive
analysis of scientific publications identified seven key clusters reflecting the directions
of modernization of environmental business. These include green technologies, green
finance, and an economy focused on the environmental transformation of businesses.
The dynamics of publication activity in these fields of science confirm the relevance of
the concept of eco-friendly business and its significant potential for further scientific
research and practical implementation.

The purpose of the article is to study what traces of their stay the Kayi left in the
Orangay region of Kazakhstan. This study utilises a range of scientific research
methods, including descriptive, comparative, historical-critical, and dialectical
approaches, as well as methods of analysis and synthesis. The investigation reveals
that Orangay, situated within the Turkestan oasis and along a branch of the Great
Silk Road, played a crucial role in the history of the Kayi tribe during the VIII-XI
centuries. This region served as a focal point for the Oghuzes and witnessed the
emergence of the Oghuz State in the Aral Sea region and the lower reaches of the
Syr Darya. Orangay also marked the consolidation of the Kayi tribe, marking the
beginning of their ascendance. Archaeological excavations in the Turkestan oasis
provided concrete evidence of the direct connection between the Orangay region
and the Kayi tribe, including the discovery of pottery adorned with snake patterns,
characteristic of the Kayi tribe’s material culture. In conclusion, this research
establishes Orangay as a historically significant region for the Kayi tribe during the
VIII-XI centuries in Central Asia.

The concept of dark tourism has attracted considerable attention in recent years.
The studies in this field examine the convergence of tourism and morbidity. The research
problem lies in understanding the complex dynamics between the preservation of historical sites associated with Kazakhstan’s former gulags and their role in the emerging
dark tourism sector. This paper explores the tourist significance of the former gulags in
Kazakhstan through the analysis of interviews, legislation texts and policy documents, and
data on visitor numbers. Our aim is to illuminate the historical importance for tourism,
educational value, and stakeholders associated with the preservation and promotion of
these destinations. The analysis revealed the various and sometimes conflicting interests
and concerns of the stakeholders, including tourists, local communities, government institutions, and the private sector. The analysis of statistical data provided valuable information
on visitor demographics, preferences, and trends in the Karlag and Alzhir museums. These
data highlighted the role of educational institutions and demonstrated the adaptability
of museums in difficult times such as the COVID-19 pandemic. During the formation of
future policies, effective collaboration with stakeholders, responsible tourism practices,
capacity building, and sustainable marketing strategies are essential to the ethical and
sustainable management of dark tourist sites. Thus, stakeholders can ensure that dark
tourism continues to evolve in a way that respects historical integrity and benefits local
communities, while contributing to the broader goals of education and commemoration.

The impact of mass media on shaping the moral character of university students has become an
increasingly relevant concern in today’s digitally connected world. This interdisciplinary study investigates
the complex relationship between media exposure and moral development, considering the economic
implications for society and the labor market. By integrating theories from psychology, sociology, and media
studies, we develop a comprehensive conceptual framework that explains the mechanisms through which
various media channels and content types influence students’ moral attitudes, beliefs, and behaviors.
To empirically assess this influence, we employ a mixed-methods approach, combining survey research,
experimental studies, longitudinal analyses, and qualitative interviews. Our findings reveal significant
associations between specific media consumption patterns and moral orientations, with differential effects
observed across traditional, digital, educational, and entertainment media. Structural equation modeling
and multilevel analysis further demonstrate the mediating roles of social learning, cultivation, and agendasetting processes in the media-morality relationship. Importantly, we highlight the economic consequences
of media’s impact on moral character. Students with stronger moral foundations exhibit higher academic
performance, employability, and career success. Conversely, exposure to morally questionable media
content can undermine ethical decision-making and lead to costly behavioral outcomes. We conduct costbenefit analyses of media-based moral education programs and discuss the implications for consumer
behavior and market dynamics.Based on our findings, we propose evidence-based recommendations for leveraging mass media to
promote positive moral development among university students. These include guidelines for creating
ethically oriented media content, strategies for integrating media literacy education into curricula, and
collaborative initiatives between universities and media organizations. We also offer policy suggestions for
regulating media content and protecting vulnerable audiences.
Throughout the study, we address ethical considerations in researching sensitive moral issues and emphasize
the interdisciplinary nature of our approach. By synthesizing insights from multiple fields, we aim to provide
a nuanced understanding of the complex interplay between mass media and moral character formation.
Our research holds significant implications for educators, policymakers, and media professionals seeking
to cultivate a morally responsible and economically productive generation of university graduates. As the
media landscape continues to evolve, it is crucial to harness its potential for shaping positive moral values
while mitigating its risks. This study contributes to that endeavor by offering a comprehensive framework,
rigorous empirical evidence, and actionable recommendations for navigating the intersection of media,
morality, and economic outcomes in higher education.
