Human trafficking is a severe transnational issue in Central Asia, where vulnerable populations, particularly
women, children, and migrant workers, are frequently trafficked for sexual exploitation, forced labour, and other forms
of abuse. The purpose of this study was to examine the dynamics of transnational crime in the Central Asian region and
to systematise recommendations for minimising the risks of human trafficking. This study employed statistical data in
addition to legislative documents, reports from civil society organisations, and regional mapping studies, utilised qualitative
analysis and statistical methods to assess the efficacy of anti-trafficking initiatives in Central Asia. The research findings
revealed considerable variations in anti-trafficking initiatives across Central Asian countries. Kazakhstan has achieved
significant advancements in victim support systems and legislative frameworks, whilst Kyrgyzstan and Turkmenistan
persist in facing challenges related to insufficient victim identification and assistance infrastructure. Trafficking routes in
the area are varied, with victims being exploited in neighbouring countries like Russia and Turkey, as well as more distant
locations such as the United Arab Emirates and India. Women and children are the most susceptible demographics, with
an excessive proportion of trafficking victims emerging from economically deprived homes. The research highlighted
the critical necessity for increased inter-agency collaboration, refined data-gathering systems, and robust victim
protection protocols. Moreover, it underscored the necessity of using international best practices to efficiently address
human trafficking throughout Central Asia. These findings can inform policymakers, law enforcement agencies, and nongovernmental organisations in Central Asia and abroad to formulate more focused, coordinated strategies for combatting
human trafficking, especially through enhanced victim identification and protection mechanisms

This study aimed to identify the impact role of providing training to future teachers
with acmeological approach on leading to the personal and professional growth, which
is relevant and valuable for providers and clients of educational services. The study was
experimental in nature, the sample consisted of 325 respondents who had undergone
special trainings with acmeological approach and who had participated in psychodiagnostic research carried out before and after the training, as well as three months
after the start of the experiment. The methods embraced testing by the questionnaires
for studying meaningful life orientations, self-relationship, testing for “assessment of
self-fulfillment” and “readiness to self-development”, and the indicator of self-change
potential. The findings were compared with relevant indicators and their accuracy was
confirmed via the students’ t-test. In the control group, participants expressed a desire
to understand themselves but felt unable to facilitate self-improvement. Conversely,
students in the experimental group expressed a desire to understand themselves and
possessed the ability to promote self-improvement. The majority of students favored
the acmeological approach for enhancing motivation and cultivating a highly
professional persona. Three months post-experiment, students in the experimental
group exhibited a greater tendency towards self-change. The results of the experiment
have shown the effectiveness of acmeological approach for developing future teachers
professionally, and the experimental verification of its impact on students' selfawareness, meaningful life orientations, ability to self-change, and their potential for
high levels of teacher professionalism.

According to Bandura’s theoretical lens of reciprocal determinism, cognitive motivational
factors, non-cognitive motivational factors, and academic success can have a mutually
influential relationship. However, empirical studies supporting this position are scarce, and no
known study has investigated the influence of academic success on its associated factors. This
study examined the reciprocal relationships among the factors of academic success and how
they influence one another and are, in turn, impacted by academic success. The study drew
on a representative group of 287 university students, comprising 201 females and 86 males,
all between 18 and 21years of age. The research utilised advanced statistical modelling to
examine the relationships between variables, specifically structural equation modelling (SEM)
with the partial least squares (PLS) approach, supported by WarpPLS version 7.0 software
model achieved a good fit and quality indices. The findings revealed significant reciprocal
relationships between cognitive and non-cognitive motivational factors and academic success
at the between-factors level. Additionally, academic success significantly influenced its
determinant factors. This study concludes that academic success can impact any factor that
interacts with it significantly, making it a potential instrument for societal transformation and
sustainable development.

The Incorporation of Employee Performance Appraisal into Organizational Development Strategies

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the
effectiveness of scientifically based methods
for assessing employee performance in modern
organizations, particularly in the pharmaceutical
industry. The research aims to integrate the
evaluation process into the organization’s
development strategy, ensuring alignment with
both internal and external environmental factors.
Furthermore, it focuses on examining the utility
of jobEQ tests for measuring work attitudes,
motivation, and emotional intelligence. Methods.
The study employs a comprehensive review of
existing literature on employee involvement
and performance assessment, with a focus on
identifying gaps in current methodologies. It also
includes an analysis of jobEQ tools, specifically the
Inventory for Work Attitude & Motivation (iWAM),
COMET, and the Values Systems Questionnaire
(VSQ), to evaluate their effectiveness in predicting
employee behavior and performance in various
job contexts. Results. The findings reveal that
while various methods for assessing employee
involvement exist, they often fail to account for
the unique external and internal environments
of organizational structures. The jobEQ tests,
particularly iWAM and COMET/EQ, provide
valuable insights into employee thinking
styles, motivational preferences, and emotional
intelligence, which are critical for aligning
individual performance with organizational goals.
Conclusions. To summarize, the integration of
evidence-based employee performance evaluation
methods with an organization's development
strategy is crucial for achieving strategic goals
and enhancing overall effectiveness. The jobEQ
tests offer a promising approach to measuring
key aspects of employee engagement, but further
research is needed to develop assessment tools
that fully consider the complexities of both the
external and internal organizational environment
