The article is devoted to the demand of emotional intelligence formation and development as a significant quality in future social teachers of professional competence. We offered the following hypothesis: the use of the training educational program (TEP) and the sociopsychological training (SPT) contribute to the formation and emotional intelligence development of social future teachers. The research is involved 40 students of the Social Sciences Faculty of L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University (ENU) and 46 students of K. Zhubanov Pedagogy Institute of Aktobe Regional State University (ARSU). The purpose of the research is to assess the state of the emotional intelligence problem; to consider different points of view of researchers about the emotional intelligence problem; to show the influence of emotional intelligence on the professional and personal development of a social teacher. The training program and the SPT were used to achieve the tasks for social teachers, which aimed at actualizing the creative potential of students and developing empathy and another component of emotional intelligence (EI). The analysis of the EI indicators of the subjects and last stages of the research has confirmed our hypothesis, that the use of the training program and the SPT for social future teachers have a positive effect on the formation and further development of personal and interpersonal aspects of emotional intelligence, also increases the quality of the professional competence. The article is devoted to the problem of a person’s assertiveness study. The aim is to give general information about this term and to study the aspects of the possibility of a person’s assertiveness development. The novelty of the article is that the work provides a critical understanding of research on assertive personality behavior; given the information about who and when introduced the definition of assertiveness of a person into scientific use, the essence of the concept of assertiveness is revealed, and a study is carried out to identify the personality characteristics and assertiveness. This article analyzes and summarizes the results of foreign and domestic studies of assertiveness and assertive behavior, which are currently topical psychological problems of society. Suggestions are given to overcome the discovered problems. Thus, the given article gives us the consciousness of what assertiveness is from a psychological point of view. This is the ability to defend one’s interests with dignity and confidence, without violating the rights of others. It is worth noting that assertiveness is an acquired rather than an innate quality. Therefore, with proper work on yourself, you can achieve excellent results. Also in the formation of this useful quality can help special rules of assertive behavior, which were discussed in the article. Статья посвящена анализу основных параметров модели ведущих исследовательских зарубежных университетов. В статье на основе анализа научных подходов ученых рассматривается зарубежный опыт исследовательских университетов, в частности опыт университетов США. Ведущим подходом к исследованию данной проблемы является системный подход, позволяющий учесть необходимые взаимосвязи в модели исследовательских зарубежных университетов. В статье акцентируется внимание на таких характеристиках модели исследовательского зарубежного университета, как сочетание обучения, исследований и академических свобод; использование механизмов консолидированного финансирования и взаимной экспертной оценки; взаимодействие предпринимательства и науки, студентоориентированный подход, практика частного финансирования долгосрочных университетских программ. В статье автором также определены основные условия применения зарубежного опыта в отечественной системе университетского образования. В качестве основных условий применения зарубежного опыта в казахстанской системе высшего образования выделены: развитие новых форм интеграции образования и науки; укрепление связи казахстанских университетов с производством и бизнесом; эффективное управление процессом коммерциализации результатов научных исследований в вузах; обеспечение множественности источников финансирования, разработка и утверждение на уровне вуза концепции управления интеллектуальной собственностью и др.
