Abstract
The article is devoted to an actual historical and philosophical problem – the analysis of philosophical concepts of the concept of intuition. One of the main problems of epistemology is connected with the definition of the mechanisms of human creative activity. In this regard, the main goal is to determine the role of intuition. The role of intuition in scientific cognition has not yet been sufficiently studied. The interdisciplinary nature indicates the relevance of the topic. Philosophical concepts have been studied, starting with the teachings of Plato and Aristotle, which created the prerequisites for the formation of the concept of intellectual intuition. As well as the concepts of R. Descartes, B. Spinoza, I. Kant, who contributed to the formation of the concept of intuition in modern times. In the XIX century A. Schopenhauer and A. Bergson interpreted intuition from the standpoint of irrationalism. In the ХХ century, the concept of intuition was widely studied, in connection with this, the interpretation of intuition by representatives of analytical philosophy (B. Russell, the Vienna Circle, M. Bunge, N. Chomsky). In analytical philosophy, intuition is perceived as a conviction in philosophical argumentation, and most of the evidence is based on intuitive belief. N.Chomsky paid special attention to intuition when studying the structure of language. M. Bunge developed a classification of intuition. Since thought experiments in modern science are characterized by an intuitive method, experimental philosophy largely studies the concept and mechanisms of intuition.
