Retraction notice to "Effect of swift heavy ions irradiation on AlN ceramics properties" [Ceramics International 44 (2018) 19787-19793]

Abstract

The article is a duplicate of a paper that has already been published in Materials Research Express entitled “Investigation of the influence of irradiation with Fe+7 ions on structural properties of AlN ceramics”, authored by A Kozlovskiy, K Dukenbayev, I Ivanov, S Kozin, V Aleksandrenko, A Kurakhmedov, E Sambaev, I Kenzhina, D Tosi, V Loginov and M Zdorovets, June 6 2018, https://iopscience.iop.org/article/10.1088/2053-1591/aac7ba. One of the conditions of submission of a paper for publication is that authors declare explicitly that the paper has not been previously published and is not under consideration for publication elsewhere. As such this article represents a misuse of the scientific publishing system. The scientific community takes a very strong view on this matter and apologies are offered to readers of the journal that this was not detected during the submission process.
