This research paper analyzes the role of the national currency of the Republic
of Kazakhstan – The Tenge – in the economy and its impact on economic stability. The study
examines the mechanisms related to the Tenge’s impact on inflation levels , exchange rates , exports
and imports , as well as the monetary policy conducted by the National Bank.
