Abstract

This article analyzes the significant aspects of the state policy of the country over the years of independence. The circle of challenges and threats to the sovereignty of a secular state is outlined. The framework of strategic measures taken by the political leadership of the country at different periods of time to ensure national security has been updated, incl. strategies for countering religious extremism.
