dc.description.abstract This paper explores the profound impact of climate change on the development of sustainable tourism in South Kazakhstan. As the region faces rising temperatures, desertification, and water scarcity, the tourism industry must adapt to preserve its economic viability and environmental integrity. Drawing on international best practices and relevant literature, the study presents a step-by-step model aimed at promoting climate-resilient tourism. This model includes climate risk assessment, asset mapping, infrastructure adaptation, and community involvement. The paper concludes with practical recommendations for integrating climate considerations into tourism planning, branding, and development at both the regional and national levels. Through strategic implementation, South Kazakhstan can become a leading example of sustainable and climate-smart tourism in Central Asia. ru
