| dc.description.abstract | For most people, television serves as an escape from everyday problems rather than a confrontation with the grim truths of life. This article explores the coverage of crime-related topics on television—subjects that many prefer to avoid after a long workday. However, it is crucial to understand why forensic journalism plays an important role in society and how popular this genre is in Kazakhstan. Crime has always existed, and there is no way to completely escape it. Therefore, the media’s key responsibility is to inform the public about its consequences, shape public opinion, and draw attention to crime prevention efforts. | ru |
