The digital transformation of the hospitality industry is a key factor in enhancing
operational efficiency and service quality. This article examines the theoretical foundations of
digitalization, assesses the current state of digital adoption in Kazakhstan’s hotel sector. The
research methods include a survey of hotel employees, statistical data analysis, and a review of
digital trends. The study identifies major challenges, such as high implementation costs,
insufficient IT infrastructure, and a lack of digital skills among staff. The proposed recommendations focus on automation, AI-driven analytics, contactless services, and targeted
training programs. The main conclusion highlights the need for a structured approach to digital
transformation, emphasizing the adoption of advanced technologies, workforce upskilling, and
strategic industry engagement. Future research prospects involve evaluating the long-term impact
of digitalization on guest satisfaction and business performance.
