Abstract:
The purpose of this article was to make a comparative-contrastive study of the aesthetic
function of the effect of life based on examples selected by the method of continuous sampling from literary works in Kazakh and English languages. Results of the critical review of the theoretical research on
the issue confirm the fact that the phenomenon of ―the effect of life‖ takes a special place in the identification of figurative means based on the analysis of the ―physical‖ and ―aesthetic‖ ranges of a literary
work.
