Abstract:
The article is devoted to the study of the linguoculturological aspect in the process of
metaphorical conceptualization of reality, in particular, the physical space represented in the Kazakh
language by the lexeme alan (aлaң). The authors give examples from the Almaty corpus of the Kazakh
language, demonstrating the potential of the studied lexeme and its participation in various metaphorical
projections.
