Abstract:
The rapidly evolving media environment necessitates the transformation of
journalism education. This article explores the application of interactive teaching methods —
specifically case studies, business games, editorial simulations, and professional training workshops
— in the journalism programs of Poland and Kazakhstan. These approaches bridge the gap between
theoretical knowledge and practical skills, helping students adapt to the dynamic demands of the
modern media landscape. Based on comparative analysis, the paper outlines how both countries
integrate these methods to enhance student engagement, critical thinking, and professional
readiness.
