Abstract:
Mesenchymal stem cells are used due to their inherent immunoregulatory properties in
the treatment of many immune diseases. Currently, mechanisms of their therapeutic effect are under active investigation, and for their proper application, an obvious understanding of the interaction of MSCs with immune cells is necessary.
This review is intended to examine the current progress in the mechanisms of interaction of MSCs with immune cells and how they correlate with the immune response in both animal models and in clinical trials.
