THE CONCEPT OF MILK IN THE KAZAKH AND ENGLISH LINGUISTIC PICTURES OF THE WORLD

Abstract

The purpose of the study is to identify semantic and linguocultural components included in the semantic structure of the concept of milk in the Kazakh and English language pictures of the world The scientific novelty of the research consists in the fact that this article examines the components of the concept of milk in the Kazakh and English language pictures of the world at the semantic and cultural-semantic levels in a comparative aspect. The paper presents the results of the analysis of phraseological units, proverbs, sayings of two comparable languages, highlights the common and distinctive components of the concept of milk in the Kazakh and English language pictures of the world.
