Abstract:
As urbanization continues to rise, understanding and managing the complex dynamics of
urban population flows is crucial for effective city planning. The article discusses the significance of using
multi-agent systems for monitoring urban population movements in transportation, detailing key
methodologies. It examines the fundamental components of multi-agent systems and presents examples of
their application in transportation systems, hazardous materials transport, and route planning. Finally, based
on study outcomes, the article evaluates potential areas for the broader application of multi-agent systems
to enhance convenience for urban residents and outlines future directions for this technology.
